Grand Living Realty Area Info

Flagler County really is the best of Florida living!

Coastal

The Atlantic coast that stretches all along Flagler County’s eastern border has 19 miles of pristine beaches and unspoiled coastline.

Homes along the coast sit high on the dunes, providing breath-taking ocean views, private access to the beach and ocean for any water activities you enjoy, including paddle boarding, surfing, fishing, swimming, or just relaxing and enjoying. Most coastal homes are within a short distance from one of the charming small coastal towns.

Marineland is the northernmost coastal town in Flagler County. It was the world’s first oceanarium and still provides visitors with dolphin interactions and aquarium displays.

Flagler Beach

Flagler Beach is the largest of the small towns along the coast of Flagler County, featuring a vibrant art community, unique shops and restaurants, along with the iconic Flagler Beach fishing pier.

The Intracoastal Waterway

The Intracoastal Waterway, or ICW, adds waterfront to many Flagler County properties and communities, including Grand Haven.  We have two convenient bridges over the Intracoastal Waterway, providing access to our 19 miles of beaches, plus access to parks and the ICW for water sports and fishing.

Palm Coast

Whether you choose to settle in one of our exclusive 17 gated communities, or outside of the gates, Palm Coast offers a small-town feel with all the conveniences of the city, including excellent medical facilities, great schools, an active business environment, cultural attractions, plus abundant shopping and dining venues.  Palm Coast is home to golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and Gary Player.

Outdoor Activities

If you’re looking for water or land activities, our many excellently maintained city and county parks have it for you!  Some of their features include public boat launches, fishing docks, sports fields, a skate park, mountain bike trails, plus extensive multi-use paths for walking, running, biking or skating that connect virtually all of Palm Coast.

Princess Place Preserve is the crown jewel of Flagler County’s preserves.  The historical lodge was built by Henry Cutting, a contemporary of Henry Flagler, and can still be toured today.  Visitors come from everywhere to enjoy the 1,500-acre preserve for its equestrian trails, waterways, fishing, hiking trails, and primitive camping.

Western Flagler County

The western border of Flagler County has Crescent Lake, plus there are many small lakes, both within our many beautiful gated communities, and throughout the county.

To the west of Palm Coast is our County Seat of Bunnell.  Spread throughout the western half of Flagler County are many lakes, ranches and farms, if quiet country living is what you’re searching for.

Flagler County is ideally located within an hour of both Orlando and Jacksonville.  We are only half an hour from our nation’s oldest city of St. Augustine or from world famous Daytona Beach.
